The installation

What we consider.

A clear scope, tailored to your equipment and property.

01

Mounting that suits the property

Roof, fascia, wall and other suitable mounting options are assessed against the building, equipment and access. The final mounting method is agreed before work begins.

02

A planned cable route

The entry point, weatherproofing and visible finish are considered together. Share photos of your roof, proposed router location and any difficult access.

03

Setup & performance checks

We help position the router, check the connection and explain the completed setup.

Ask about your installation ↗︎
What should I send for a quote?

Your suburb, Starlink kit model, roof type and height, plus photos of the building and proposed mounting area. A photo of nearby trees helps identify potential obstructions.

Do I need the Starlink kit first?

Confirm the kit model before booking. The hardware and an active Starlink service are normally supplied by you unless a different arrangement is agreed.

Can you install on any roof?

We are currently accepting suitable metal roofs. Tiled roofs are not available at launch. Roof height, pitch and safe access must be checked before booking; please send photos.

Do you travel outside Perth?

Regional and remote WA jobs are considered by arrangement. Travel, accommodation where required and the job scope are quoted before booking.

What does an installation cost?

Starlink installation across Greater Perth, Byford and Armadale

Send your postcode with the kit model and roof photos. We serve Greater Perth, Byford and Armadale. Regional WA work is considered by arrangement, with travel and access agreed upfront. Standard local installations start from $549 incl. GST as outlined above. The mounting hardware, route and any travel or additional work are confirmed in your fixed quote before booking.

Planning your Starlink installation

Before choosing a mounting position, consider a clear view of the sky, nearby trees, the route to the router and how the building will be accessed. Photos help Gary discuss options, but the final position depends on the property assessment. Do not climb onto the roof to take quote photos—ground-level photos are useful. Summit is an independent installer. Please have your Starlink kit ready for installation.
